Though my motivation in this contest is really not self promotion -- for once -- when you click on this page, my usual motive is all over the place. So I think I'm gonna take out the Kate factor.
I really do care: I'm a review addict, except about my own books -- they give me a stomach ache, even the good ones.
I really think romance reviewing could use a shot in the arm in terms of image. That's part of what I wanted to do -- okay, perhaps including the worst review doesn't achieve that -- but I include positive categories! Most of my motivation? I want to play because I'm done with a book, and I don't want to eat chocolate to celebrate.
I started thinking about actually going and setting up a blog sort of thing that doesn't have Kate Kate Kate all over it so that it can actually be a REAL contest. Do you suppose it's worth it?
